Day 1B has come to an end with 43 players left out of the 105 that started today. Seung Heon Baek ended the day with the most chips, amounting to 61,700.

Together with the 53 players left from Day 1A, Day 2 starts off tomorrow with 94 participants who will play down to the last ten players who will make up the final table to be played on Monday, April 26. In addition, there will also be a HK$ 3,000 Six-Handed Event at 3:00 pm for those players no longer competing in the main event.

The story of the day came from the HK$ 100,000 + HK$ 1,000 High Rollers Event. In a heads-up dual and being three to one down in chips, Charles "Mr. Macau" Chua chipped away against his opponent until they he had the slight upper hand and were both all in. Charles' {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} hit top pair on the board and took home HK$ 1,029,600. Charles outlasted a field of 26 players in this event.
