After the two starting days of The Poker Circuit: Wild `N Wet, American player Matt Thompson emerged out of the pack with the overall chip lead.
A total of 73 entries showed up for the first Day 1 flight of the Php 500,000 guaranteed tournament at the Wild Aces Poker Sports Club in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.
Day 1B, meanwhile, recorded a total of 58 entries. Local player Mark Lester Sayson earned the most chips during that day with a total stack of 135,000.
"We've got some great local players here but Matt has played well to take the lead," said The Poker Circuit founder and tournament director Lloyd Fontillas.
