A few more Carbon Poker League events were sent into the record books this past week and it's still anyone’s game since plenty of points are still up for grabs each and every week.

The weekly $3.00+$0.50 ($50 added) Tuesday event was won by ”Kaupo5,” this past week and they earned a respectable 15 points. The leaderboard is still led by "Basker2b3" as two scores including a victory in a weekly $5.00+$1.00 ($100 added) Friday event was worth 30 points.

While it may be daunting to see “basker2b3,” at the top of the leader board with 33 points, it really won’t be hard for players to catch if they start playing soon. It will be especially easy to skyrocket up the leaderboard if players get involved in the upcoming VIP freerolls.

There are a total of three VIP freerolls taking place before the Carbon Poker League ends, taking place Thursday, Nov. 3; Thursday, Dec. 1; and Thursday, Dec. 29. That means the closest freeroll is kicking off in just a few days.

The freerolls cost 50 Carbon VIP points to enter and award a massive 120 league points to the winner along with a generous $1,000 free added prize pool. See below for how the VIP freerolls will award league points.

As you can see, in this early stage of the league, finishing in the top few players in the Nov. 3 VIP freeroll will place players right up the top of the leaderboard and give them the best chance of finishing in the top 30, who will qualify to take part in the Big Final on Jan. 8 at 1800 GMT (1100 PDT).

The Big Final is set to award a huge amount of cash and below is an outline of how the tournament will payout its eventual winners.
