Kaselias Wins Big Pot, Eventually

Nali Kaselias
After a player in the cutoff opened with a raise to 550, Nali Kaselias bumped it up an additional 2,100 from the big blind. His opponent made the call and they saw a flop of {8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

Kaselias led out for 5,000 and his opponent thought for a long time before cutting out ten purple 500-denomination chips and making the call.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and this time Kaselias deliberated, and after a few minutes of thought he decided to commit his last 7,500 chips into the pot. This sent his opponent into the tank for a long time. So much so, that he was worried that someone had called the clock on him. No one had, but after another few minutes of thought, Kaselias had seen enough and called time. In a hand that extended close to ten minutes, his opponent eventually gave it up and the PokerNews Cup Champion collected a healthy pot to climb to 18,000.
