The chips have been bagged to see the end of a successful day in the APPT Macau High Rollers Event.

A world class field of 64 took to the felt today including high stakes regulars David Steicke, JC Tran, Joe Hachem, Jay Kinkade, Andrew Scott, Bertrand Grospellier, Vivek Rajkumar and Nathaniel Seet.

However when the railbirds cleared out and the players returned home, none of the mentioned remained in the field.

Vladimir Geshkenbein surged strong and late to take the chip lead into tomorrow with an impressive 478,000 in chips.

Sitting right on his tail however will be Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis (448,500), JJ Liu (406,000), Yevgeniy Timoshenko (356,000) and Gap Young Kim (339,000).

There are a few players that me low on chips, but experience and presence more than makes up for. Johnny Chan (158,000) and Will Ma (132,500) will be looking to replicate their final table feats last year and Team PokerStars Pro's Grant 'grunter' Levy and Terrence Chan are always a threat.

Play is set to begin at 12:15pm local time tomorrow with all the action being provided by PokerNews as the remaining 25 players play down to just one and the $266,690 first prize, coveted trophy and title of Champion!

Emanuel 'Curly' Seal Eliminated

Emanuel 'Curly' Seal opened to 8,500 from early position and Jonathan Karamalikis made the call out of the blinds.

Karamalikis checked dark to see the {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop drop and an all in push from Seal follow. Karamalikis called tabling his {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to be in great shape against Seal's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

Unfortunately for Seal, the turn and river would land the {6-Diamonds} and {7-Spades} to see him hit the rail.

Ma Doubles Chen

Will Ma opened to 7,500 from the cutoff, only to have Andrew Chen make it 19,500 out of the blinds.

With the action on Ma, he pushed all in and Chen called for his 77,800 total.

Ma: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Chen: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades} to see Chen double through to 165,000 as Ma slips to 150,000 and change.

Keeton KO'D

Sean Keeton eliminated
Sean Keeton eliminated
Sean Keeton has hit the rail when he open shoved a {J-?}{10-?}-X flop holding {Q-?}{9-?} and was called by Grant Levy's {A-?}{A-?}.

Unfortunately for Keeton the turn and river blanked out landing the {4-?} and {2-?} to see Levy soar to 230,000 thanks to Keeton.

Final Level

This is the final level of play.

The remaining will bag their chips in just under an hour and return to battle it out until just one remains tomorrow.
