Nam Takes a Tumble -- Twice

[user133555]
Nam Le

On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}, Nam Le bet out 4,500 and Kai Paulsen re-raised to 11,500. Nam made the call and the two saw the turn card:

Turn: {5-Spades}

When the turn card came, Kai bet out 15,500 and Nam made the call again.

It was the same case on the river {2-Clubs} as Kai bet out for 22,000. Nam thought about if for a while and finally called but just mucked his hand as Kai showed {k-}{q-}.

A few hands later, Nam got hit again as he got it all-in against a short-stack. Nam had {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} but would need to catch cards against his opponent's {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}.

That didn't happen as the board ran out {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} to give the all-in player the double-up.

Nam is now at a very precarious 5,000 in chips.
