Mike Puno

After both players had checked down the flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Clubs}, it looked to be the same story on the turn {4-Hearts} as Mike Puno, who was first to act, checked.

Michael Cua then decided to take a stab at the pot, betting out 50,000. The crowd then got on its feet as Mike retaliated by going all-in, and Michael made the call!

Mike: {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Michael: {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Michael had made the call with second pair but was ahead against Mike's {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. With one card to go, Mike was looking for another club or a jack, and the final card was dealt:

River: {9-Diamonds}

The entire crowd of onlookers around the table erupted, as the nine on the river gave Michael two-pair, cementing his win and making him champion of APT Philippines 2010!

For his runner-up finish, Mike received US $89,100 and a seat to APT Macau worth US $4,500.
