Xenofontos Loses Some of his Lead

[user92162]
There are a mountain of chips in front of Xen Xenofontos at the moment, but he felt the need to share of his wealth in one of the last pots of the night.

Preflop an early position player opened to 6,500 and got calls from middle position, Xenofontos in the cutoff and the big blind.

Four handed to the {2-Hearts}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop all the players checked to the {5-Hearts} turn.

On the flop the big blind fired 12,500 with only Xenofontos calling. The river {j-Spades} saw the big blind lead out 25,000 with Xenofontos again flat calling.

Xenofontos tabled his {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a pair of fives, unable to beat out the big blind's {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

He still has a comfortable lead at the top of the day 1a counts.
