We're down to 18 players here in Event 16 of the 2010 Aussie Millions. We're already in the money and the remaining players will be back tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. local time to play down to a winner.

We started with 248 players creating a prize pool of $248,000. First place will take home $53,816 AUD, the title, and the championship ring.

Yuri Bokkel will come into the day with the chip lead at 172,000. But not far behind him sit John Tabatabai, Lee Nelson, and Jonathan Karamalikis.

See you at 4:00 p.m. local time!

Down to 18

Robert Wang and John Tabatabai got in a blind versus blind battle and only one would come out of it with chips.

Wang showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Tabatabai held {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The board ran out {q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Wang was eliminated in 19th place.

Farrington Busts Two

Three players got it all in preflop.

Opponent 1: {q-Hearts}qc}
Opponent 2: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Richard Farrington: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{6-Spades}[kh}{j-Hearts} and with that Farrington knocked out two players, which means we're almost done for the night.

Karamalikis Doubles

Lee Nelson made it 6,200 to go preflop before Jonathan Karamalikis moved all in for just under 40,000 and Nelson made the call.

Karamalikis: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Nelson: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

{A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds} fell on the board and Karamalikis found new life in a double up.

No De-Bokkel

Charles Caris made it 7,400 before Yuri Bokkel raised it up to 20,000. Caris then moved all in and Bokkel made the call.

Caris: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Bokkel: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board rolled out {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Bokkel collected all the chips.

Bubble Boy

Shawn Buchanan is our bubble boy. Everyone who busts from here on out will be making some cash.

Nelson Doubles

Lee Nelson and an opponent put all their chips in the middle preflop.

Nelson doubled up when his {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} held up against his opponent's {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} when the board came down {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

Dong Drops a Couple of Chips

Jonathan Karamalikis and an opponent got it all in preflop with Karamalikis holding {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} and his opponent holding {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The board came down {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} and Karamalikis couldn't find the cards he needed to hold on to his chips.

Tabatabai Doubles

John Tabatabai and his opponent got it all in preflop.

Tabatabai held {j-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and his opponent held {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

The board fell {j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs} to give Tabatabai quads and the double up.
