Glen Goldberg Eliminated in 5th Place ($3,600 AUD)

Before we could finish writing about the sixth place bust out hand, we lost another one. Everything happened so fast, we didn't catch who put their money in first, we just know it all went in the middle preflop between Paul Schenbri and Glen Goldberg.

Schenbri: {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Goldberg: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Board: {9-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Hearts}

And that was all she wrote for Goldberg today. Schenbri now has 261,000 in chips.

Michael Dix Eliminated in 6th Place ($2,925 AUD)

Michael Dix was eliminated when his {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} went up against Chris Brammer's {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The flop brought the {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Spades} pairing Brammer's ace and the {2-Clubs} turn and {3-Clubs} river did nothing to help Dix as he was sent to the rail. Brammer is now sitting with 482,000.

Michael Guzzardi Eliminated in 7th Place ($2,250 AUD)

Michael Guzzardi, from middle position, shoved all-in preflop for about 135,000 holding {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. He was called from the small blind, Glen Goldberg, who had {A-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Flop: {q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Turn: {7-Clubs}
River: {10-Spades}

And with that, Guzzardi's day was done and Goldberg "stacks" his 285,000 chip stack.

Gary Benson Eliminated in 8th Place ($1,800 AUD)

In the cut off, Gary Benson shoved for 101,000 and was called by Michael Dix who had 92,000 in the small blind. Benson tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Dix showed {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Benson was left with 9,000 in chips. He was eliminated shortly thereafter.

Bummer for Brammer

We missed the preflop action between Chris Brammer and Shannon Vandenberg but there was about 40,000 in the pot when the flop came down {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Brammer open shoved all-in after the flop and Vandenberg made the call.

Brammer: {J-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Vandenberg: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {6-Clubs} fell on the turn and the {10-Clubs} came on the river giving Vandenberg the double up. He now sits with 182,000 and Brammer is down to 162,000.

Kalan Shuttlewood Eliminated in 10th Place ($900 AUD)

Action folded to Chris Brammer on the button. He shoves with {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} covering both of the blinds. Kalan Shuttlewood calls all in from the small blind for 75,000. He shows {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} and was looking good until the flop.

Flop: {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

No help for Shuttlewood on the {3-Diamonds} turn and {j-Clubs} river and we've had our first casualty of the final table. Kalan Shuttlewood takes home $900 AUD for his efforts today.
