Event 3: $1,100 Limit Hold'em

Come On, Man!

Martin Comer
A very short-stacked Martin Comer opened a recent pot with a raise and was three-bet by Joe Cabret. Comer just called and the two saw the flop come {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Comer then sent the last of his chips into the middle and was called by Cabret who tabled {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Comer produced the {K-Spades}{4-Spades} and his tournament life was in serious jeopardy.

Comer was saved by the turn and rejuvenated by the river, as the rest of the board filled out {4-Clubs}, {K-Hearts} giving him two pair and a quick double up to 1,900.

"You got it in with the worst hand. Well done," Cabret told Comer after the hand.

"I don't know if you know this, but Martin Comer is the reason they invented earplugs," Cabret added.
