No Payne for Karamalikis

From the small blind, Brian Payne completed and Jonathan Karamalikis raised from the big blind to 26,000. This time, Payne only called instead of reraising.

The flop came down {3-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {2-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn card was the {7-Diamonds} and Payne checked to Karamalikis, who fired 32,000. Payne made the call.

The river card was the {4-Diamonds} and Payne check-called a bet of 72,000 from Karamalikis. Karamalikis showed {9-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} for trip deuces and Payne mucked. Karamalikis is back up to 840,000.

Grant Levy stood up to talk to some people that are railing the final table. One of those was Julian Powell and he told Levy, "That was the worst fold in history, you don't deserve to be here." referencing an earlier situation where Levy made a fold that Powell disagreed with. Whether or not it was the correct fold, Levy is still going strong at the final table.

Karamalikis' Trips Are Better

Brian Payne completed from the small blind before Jonathan Karamalikis raised to 25,000 from the big blind. Payne then reraised to 65,000 nd Karamalikis called.

The river card was the {A-Diamonds} and Payne fired another 60,000. Karamalikis called once more and showed {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. Payne held {A-Hearts} {4-Clubs}.

Karamalikis moved back up to 730,000 while Payne dropped to 610,000.
