Those who'll be having a holiday for the rest of week will include, Brandon Cantu, Fernando Brito as well as Team Pros Richard Toth and Martin Horecki.

Tomorrow, we'll be expecting an even larger field than today that will include Johnny Lodden, Eugene Katchalov and Kevin MacPhee - all looking to do battle and become the first ever EPT Loutraki champion!

Nitsche Staring at the Abyss

Oh dear, that's not the way Dominik Nitsche would've wanted to finish the tournament today.

They had been a raise to 1,300 with Theofanis Poziopoylos flat-calling before Nitsche moved all in from the button for 11,775. The initial raiser folded but Poziopoylos asked for a count before deciding to make the call.

Poziopoylos: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Nitsche: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Poziopoylos flopped the world when it came {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and then when the {K-Diamonds} came on the turn followed by the {9-Spades} on the river, the young German was eliminated.

Shocked, Nitsche stood there for several minutes saying, "Did that really just happened?"

Mark Up

• Level 7: 250-500, 50 ante

Andrey Markov has just eliminated Viktor Gerasymenko in a battle of the short-stacks, Markov had pushed preflop and Gerasymenko called off his stack for slightly less.

Markov: {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Gerasymenko: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board came {J-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

Rizov Fades the Uberdraw

• Level 7: 250-500, 50 ante

Miroslav Rizov has doubled up - he was holding {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on a {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} flop - pretty good but he was up against the drawtacular hand {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} of Ignat Liviu. The turn and the river were both fives, coming {5-Clubs} and {5-Spades} and Rizov doubled up to about 35,000. Liviu still has around his starting stack.
