Elder Doubles

With around 26,000 already in the pot and the board reading {7-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {3-Hearts} Oliver Speidel pushed in 35,000 and it was Rupert Elder's turn to act. Speidel's bet almost covered Elder's stack and he took a couple of minutes to make the decision. He had finally opted to go all in and Speidel snap-called.

Elder showed {A-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} while Speidel flipped {A-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}. Elder's nine gave him a better second pair and he doubled up.
