Iulian Ruxandescu opened for 40,000 from the cutoff and was met with a three-bet to 105,000 by Matt Salsberg in the small blind. After the big blind folded, Ruxandescu thought for almost two minutes before announcing that he was all in for 472,000. Salsberg asked for a count, and when he got it he made the call.
"How about a seven?" Salsberg asked the dealer. She must not have been listening as she burned and put down the flop. The turn also failed to fulfill Salsberg's request, while the river gave each aces and tens; however, Ruxandescu's nine kicker proved to be the difference and secured him a double.
