Gordon Chipping Up

Gordon Huntly
Gordon Huntly
Gordon Huntly has pushed the action in the last two hands and has gotten some newfound chips as a result.

Pre-flop, Binh Nguyen raised to 125,000 and got a call from both Terrence Chan and Gordon.

On the flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Gordon bet out a hefty 500,000 and got both his opponents to fold.

The next hand, Gordon raised to 200,000 pre-flop and got a call in Terrence.

Both players checked the {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop but when the {9-Spades} turn came, Gordon bet a handful of chips and Terrence folded before the bet amount could even be counted.

He is now at almost 2,200,000 in chips.

Charles 'Mr. Macau' Chua has doubled up to about 1,000,000 in chips.

Chucky has moved all in for about five times on this final table without getting any callers. But on his sixth move, he got a call from Terrence Chan and everyone else folded.

Chucky: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Terrence: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}

The flop {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} was what Chucky was looking for. The turn {4-Clubs} and river {3-Hearts} ensured he had the top pair to double up.

"Now we can play." said Chucky after.

Choon Lim gambled big in an attempt to scare Binh Nguyen off the pot and he ended up paying for it with his entire stack.

Pre-flop, Choon raised to 105,000 and Binh re-raised to 315,000. Choon, who had {5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, decided to make a move and go all-in to try and scare Binh off the hand.

It didn't work as Binh instantly called and showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}, leaving Choon looking for a miracle to stay alive.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} did not bring help and Choon's fate was sealed when the {8-Hearts} came on the turn.

The river {6-Clubs} was dealt as a formality and Choon is now on the rail. He wins US $44,300 for finishing sixth in his first major tournament.

Slowdown in Action

After a lot of aggressive action early on, we are now experiencing a slowdown in the action here on the final table.

We've had many pre-flop raises being met by folds all around, and even a couple of walks.
