Marc Rivera Eliminated in Massive Pot (US $10,400)

Marc Rivera
Marc Rivera
Marc Rivera, who entered the day as the chip leader, has been eliminated in what could be the day' biggest hand.

Pre-flop, Marc shoved all-in from under the gun for his remaining 94,000. Oka Hirohide called, and so did Yong Suk 'Michael' Chang.

Choon Lim then surprised everyone at the table by moving all-in with his big stack of about 704,000.

Action went back to Oka, who tanked for a while before making the call.

As soon as the call was made, Choon Lim threw {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} on the table to Oka's dismay. Oka had {a-Spades}{q-Spades} while Marc was holding {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}, giving Oka some hope with a straight draw. The turn {k-Hearts} was not the jack he needed, and neither was the river {k-Diamonds}.

Marc has now been eliminated in 16th place while Oka is down to 120,000.

Choon, meanwhile, is now at over 1.5 million chips.
