Monster Pot Gives Us New Chip Leader

[user133555]
Raymond Wu

We have a clear-cut chip leader now after a big hand that took place between PokerStars Team Asia Pro Raymond Wu and Dominic Cho.

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, sparks flew as the two big stacks got their chips all-in, with Raymond showing {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for trips -- but was behind Dominic's {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}!

It looked grim for Raymond as it seemed he was about to lose another big hand with queen-ten. Last night, he had been eliminated from Day 1D after getting it all-in with the same hand.

Raymond would need a queen to come and help him but the turn brought only a king.

Fortunately for him, luck would be on his side as a {q-} appeared on the river, eliciting a shout of joy from the PokerStars pro.

With that victory, Raymond is now up to 220,000 while Dominic is out of the event.
