Jacky Zhang Surges To The Top

Jacky Zhang

It looks like we could have a new chip leader after a huge pot that took place on Neil Arce's table.

Pre-flop, Neil Arce went all-in for his stack of more than 30,000 and the short-stacked cut-off made the call and went all-in as well. To make things more fun, Jacky Zhang, who had a stack just a little smaller than Neil, also declared he was all-in and the cards were tabled:

Neil: {9-}{9-}
Jacky: {10-}{10-}
Opponent: {a-}{q-}

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and it looked like the short stack would triple up. The turn {6-Diamonds} did not change any of that but everything would end up going to Jacky when the {10-Spades} landed on the river to give him the set.

Jacky is now at about 65,000 in chips while Neil is left with 800.
