On a flop of , Johnny Tan bet 100,000 and was raised by Percy to 250,000. Johnny made the call.
The two then proceeded to check the that came on the turn as well as the that landed on the river.
When the cards were tabled, Johnny showed for the flopped two-pair, while Percy showed for the flopped top pair.
The problem? This wasn't the flop - because of the aces that came on the turn and river, Johnny's initial two-pair was counterfeited as both players ended up with an ace-queen two-pair.
Since Percy's jack was the higher kicker, the pot ended up going to him, much to Johnny's chagrin.
