Day 2 Over, 38 Survivors Remain

[user163836]

If Day 1A and Day 1B was a grind, surely Day 2 was a struggle.

With a total of 314 entrants (Day 1A had 135 and Day 1B had 179) only 38 players remain in the running for the PokerStars Macau Poker Cup Red Dragon Event at the Casino Grand Lisboa.

And believe it or not, we got another unheralded player on top of the heap... Wai Cheng "Ginger" Keong who has surprised a lot of observers by being the chip leader as we move on to the final day. Flashback to Day 1A, we had an unknown Jason Coe as the chip leader after the first day.

As much as poker fans can celebrate the rise of the underdogs, they can feel the pain of the fall of the more decorated poker stars like Bryan Huang, J.C. Tran, Celina Lin, Tae Joon Noh, and Quinn Do among many other giants slayed in the early part of the tournament.

But as the old sports adage go, you can only be good as your last game (or in this case, the last hand)
