2 Levels & 15 Players Remain

Players are back in their seats, and they will likely stay there for a little while yet.

We'll either stop when we get to a final table or at 3am, whichever comes first.

Shuffle up and deal.

Break It Down

[user67765]

The players will now be taking another twenty-minute break. When they return we'll be busting eight of them and the day will be done. Be right back!

Said Elsanafiri Eliminated in 16th Place ($5,155)

[user67765]

On the last hand before the break we lost Said Elsanafiri. Here's it it went down.

Sorel Mizzi was the bring-in with the {4-Hearts} and Darren Shebell completed. Said Elsanafiri, Jon Turner and Mizzi made the call.

On fourth, Shebell took the lead and bet out before Elsanafiri put in a raise. Turner and Mizzi both released but Shebell announced a re-raise. Elsanafiri made the call.

Fifth street saw Shebell lead out with Elsanafiri calling off his last chips.

Turner: (XX) / {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Mizzi: (XX) / {4-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Shebell: ({K-Clubs}{5-Spades}) / {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs} / ({Q-Spades})
Elsanafiri: ({10-Spades}{10-Hearts}) / {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{K-Spades} / ({9-Hearts})

Shebell made kings up as Elsanafiri could only muster a pair of tens. He's out in 16th place for a collect of $5,155.

Walter V. Heimiller Again

Raymond Walter: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} / {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Dan Heimiller: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{j-} / {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Raymond Walter completed and Dan Heimiller called; they were heads up to fourth street.

Walter bet out on fourth and Heimiller raised. Call. Walter bet out on every remaining street, including a bet in the dark on seventh. Heimiller called all the way, tanking briefly on seventh before declaring, "Well, I got two big pairs, I call." He turned over aces and jacks, which was good to beat Walter's three rather smaller pairs.

Walter was reduced to a mere 11,000. Former chip daddy Heimiller was up to 195,000 after that.

Heimiller Gets Three Bets In On The River

[user67765]

It's not often you see a re-raised called on the river in a Stud hand, but Dan Heimiller has just collected a very nice pot with big river action against Raymond Walter.

Walter completed, Pat Pezzin called before Heimiller raised. Both opponents made the call. On fourth, Heimiller had the lead and bet out with both opponents coming along. Fifth street saw Heimiller fire again with Walter making the call, however Pezzin had seen enough as he folded.

Sixth street saw Heimiller bet and Walter call before both players were dealt their river card face down. Heimiller bet but this time Walter raised. Heimiller didn't slow down as he three-bet and Walter made the call.

Walter: (XXX) / {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Pezzin: (XX) / {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Spades}
Heimiller: ({A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}) / {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Heimiller showed down aces full on the river to take it down as Walter mucked. Heimiller is up to 115,000.

What Walter Needs, Walter Gets

Raymond Walter: {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} / {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Brian Johnson: (XXX) / {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

We caught up with the action on fourth street, and it was very straightforward - Raymond Walter bet out on every street and Brian Johnson called him down the whole way, eventually mucking to Walter's two pair at showdown.

"I needed that hand," said Walter, with feeling - it boosted his stack to 115,000.

Johnson said nothing and was left with 60,000.
