Carlson Doubles Through Pasillas

Edin Pasillas decided to three-bet Mick Carlson's preflop raise to 29,000 by going all in for about 420,000. Carlson made the call for all his chips.

Carlson: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Pasillas: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Brent Roberts couldn't have made Pasillas feel any better about his chances when he said, "I folded pocket eights." If Roberts was telling the truth, Pasillas was drawing to a straight, flush or chop.

The flop came {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} with the {7-Diamonds} on the turn and {10-Diamonds} on the river. After the hand Carlson found himself with about 640,000 chips, while Pasillas is down to just 100,000.

Michael Muldoon Busto

[user49729]

Michael Muldoon opened the pot in middle position with a 33,000-chip raise and Scott Montgomery re-popped it to 75,000 on the button. Muldoon moved all in for an additional 150,000 and was called.

Muldoon showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Montgomery tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}.

The board {5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Diamonds} gave Muldoon a passport to the rail. Montgomey is now up to 585,000 chips.

Carlson Shoves on Sanchez

David Sanchez made a middle-position raise to 32,000 and action folded around to Micky Carlson who called from the big blind.

Carlson checked the flop of {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Spades} and Sanchez made a close to pot-sized bet of 64,000. Carlson thought for a few moments before announcing he was all in.

Sanchez was slow to act, saying "Good bet. How much do you got there?"

Carlson replied that he had "240 or 250" before Sanchez folded.

That pot puts Carlson back up in the standings. He's now sitting with about 378,000.
