With around 3,000 in the pot and the board reading {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} Aaron Benton was faced with a bet of 2,350 from his opponent in the big blind.

Benton thought for a little before making the call as the {8-Clubs} landed on the river and he was faced with a 5,750-chip bet.

Taking his time, Benton eventually folded tabling his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} face up.

"I wish you would have hit a heart!" his opponent said.

"Show it then!" demanded Benton.

His opponent flashed his {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a full house to rake in the pot as Benton slips to 23,000 in chips.

New Kid on the Bloch

A player in Seat 4 raised to 1,000 and only Andy Bloch made the call. Both players checked the {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop and {10-Diamonds} turn. When the {3-Clubs} hit the river, Bloch fired out a bet of 2,000. Seat 4 didn't take long to fold and Bloch increased his stack to around 27,000.

Nam Le has been peddling the short stack for the majority of the day.

Pointing Out The Obvious

"I need to get lucky!" stated the all in player as his {A-Spades}{9-Spades} was dominated by {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} to see the all in player's wish come true so he could stay alive in today's tournament.

Baldwin Gets a Second Chance

Eric Baldwin was all in with {A-}{6-} and was up against the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} of his opponent. Things weren't looking good on the {10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop. Baldwin needed help after the {9-Diamonds} hit the turn. Lucky for him, the {8-Spades} came on the river to put a straight on the board. The pot was chopped and Baldwin survived but he is still short with just 4,900.

PokerStars Pro Maridu Mayrinck Takes a Hit

A player in the hijack had 1,100 invested only to have PokerStars Team Pro Brazil member Maridu Mayrinck and Seat 10 move all in. The hijack folded and since Mayrinck had more chips, Seat 10's tournament life was at risk.

Mayrinck: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Seat 10: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Mayrinck took a 2,300 hit to her stack, leaving her with only 2,500. She'll need to get something going right quick if she hopes to survive the day.

Kamberis Slipping

Alex Kamberis opened to 1,100 in early position and found a caller in the big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and both players checked it through to see the {9-Hearts} land on the urn and Kamberis call a 1,200-chip bet from his opponent.

The river peeled the {A-Spades} and Kamberis again called a 1,200-chip bet only to muck at the sight of his opponent's {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} to see him slip to 5,100.

The Dragon Breathes Fire

Three players juiced the pot to about 5,000 preflop and saw a flop of {3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Spades}. David "The Dragon" Pham checked, as did the player in the hijack. The cutoff then bet 3,000 only to have Pham raise to 6,300.

The hijack folded and the decision was back to the player in the cutoff. He thought about it for a few moments before folding {A-}{10-}. Pham quietly mucked as increased his stack to 30,000.
