Siegel Tags Kostritsyn

[user75032]

Poker television personality Jordan Siegel got his last 322,000 into the middle pre-flop and was called by Alexander Kostritsyn. Kostritsyn's pocket tens were behind Siegel's pocket aces, but two people claimed to have folded aces. They were either mistaken or the table is playing with a funny deck, because the flop came {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Spades}. That left Kostritsyn looking for the last ten, but he didn't get it. The turn {7-Clubs} and river {3-Spades} doubled up Siegel. He now has 760,000 and Kostritsyn is down to 2.1 million.

Dudley's Hopes Dashed

Dash Dudley was all in for 183,000 with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Sergey Serafimov called from the small blind with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, not the hand Dudley wanted to see. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and Dudley hit the rail. Serafimov didn't keep Dudley's chips for long though. He doubled up Manig Loeser for 224,000 the next hand.

Racener Crests 2 Million

[user75032]

John Racener's been on a post-dinner tear. There were already 500,000 chips in the pot when he bet 365,000 at the river of a {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Jeff Banghart called that large bet but couldn't beat Racener's Broadway straight, {10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Banghart dropped to 330,000 and Racener is now starting to reach the upper reaches of the counts with 2.15 million.

Ronnie "Ronasty" Bardah has been fighting flu and cold symptoms all day long. It began late last night and even 10 hours of sleep couldn't cure Bardah. The symptoms are a little worse today, but he's fighting through. He claims that he's going to try and get some medical help after the day is through. As for right now, Bardah continues to pick up chips as he just sent a player to the rail.

On the flop of {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Bardah fired 35,000. His opponent tanked before moving all in for 265,000. Bardah snapped him off with the {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}. His opponent was in a ton of trouble with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades}.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and the river the {A-Clubs}. Bardah's trip queens won the pot and he raked in the chips to move to 1.575 million.

Theo Jorgensen

From the cutoff seat, Theo Jorgensen raised to 38,000. One of the last women standing, Dorothy VonSachsen, moved all in for about 75,000 from the button. Jorgensen made the call when it got back to him.

Jorgensen held the {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and was up against the {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for VonSachsen.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and VonSachsen was sent to the rail. Jorgensen has about 3.2 million in chips now and is absolutely crushing.

Jorgensen is coming off a win at the €10,000 WPT Grand Prix de Paris Main Event where he took home nearly $850,000 for his win. Combine that with leading the WSOP Main Event with about 300 players left and it's one heck of a 2010 so far.
