Event #57: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship

"DanDruff" Brushes Off Desveaux

Todd Witteles sweating the board

Scott Desveaux four-bet shoved his last ~330,000 chips into the middle preflop, and Todd "DanDruff" Witteles called with {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}. A pained look came over Desveaux's face, and Witteles asked, "Nines?" Desveaux showed {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}, though, racing for his tournament life.

"You put him on exactly two nines?" someone at the table asked.

Witteles mentioned that Desveaux looked pained when he showed his tens, adding, "That was kind of like a turn-over slowroll."

In any event, the board ran {7-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {9-Spades}, no help for the at-risk player. Joshua Desveaux is the latest victim of the Main Event, and his chips have helped bolster Witteles to 758,000.
