Event #57: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship

Clements' Loss is Payne's Gain

Shamus

"All in pre" as they say. As in all the chips went in before the flop. Scott Clements and Jerry Payne had a couple of "all in pre"-type hands, too. Clements had {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}, and Payne {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. Payne was the one at risk, having committed his last 580,000 on this one.

The board came {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}, and Payne moved up to about 1.2 million. Clements falls to 1.37 million.
