Thorson Soaring

William Thorson in action

John Racener opened to 140,000 from under the gun as William Thorson made the call along with Michael Mizrachi and Duy Le from the blinds.

Mizrachi led out for 300,000 on the {10-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop with Le making the call and Racener folding before Thorson bumped it to 975,000.

Taking over two minutes, Mizrachi eventually folded before Le made the call to see the {2-Hearts} land on the turn. Le checked and Thorson fired out a bet of 2,000,000 to put Le into a tough spot as he removed his cap and looked visibly anguished.

Two minutes went by before Le open-mucked his {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} to see the pot pushed to Thorson as he tabled his {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for a flopped set to move to 9,500,000 in chips.
