In one of the last hands before the break, Ashton Griffin opened with a raise from the hijack only to have Vanessa Selbst three-bet to 32,000 from the small blind. Griffin refused to back down and pushed back with a four-bet to 85,000. Selbst paused for a few moments before announcing that she was all in and Griffin snap-called off for around 290,000.
The flop delivered Selbst a gutshot straight draw, but it would be the turn that would give her the lead and leave Griffin dejected. The river failed to help Griffin, who made a beeline to the exit while Selbst added to her already massive stack.
