Citrone Crashes

• Level 10: 400-800, 100 ante

Carlo Citrone bet 1,900 on a flop of {6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and faced a raise of 6,000. He pondered it for a while breaking his stack down and finally moved all in. His opponent asked for a count and it was over 10,000 more to call, but call he did.

Citrone held {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} but had been comprehensively out flopped by the {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. The turn {q-Clubs} and {5-Clubs} river couldn’t improve his hand and his chip count was reduced to zero.

Baumann Bows Out

BrettC • Level 10: 400-800, 100 ante

Gaelle Baumann got back from the break and committed the last of her chips with the {a-Hearts}{j-Spades} against an opponent's {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

“I’ve got two chances,” Baumann said, but the flop {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} did not favor her. A slightly cruel turn ({j-Hearts}) and river ({a-Hearts}) were no help and she told the table it was nice playing with them and headed off.

The Green T25 chips are being colored up as the players have a last break of the day.

"MooHaHa" Lowers the Volume

• Level 9: 300-600, 75 ante

There appears to have been a complaint from another table in the room about Justin Morgenstern’s loud, raucous and frequent laugh. When questioned the floor remained tight lipped and hurried away and the larger security officer standing near the table insisted his presence in the area was merely a coincidence.

Whatever the truth the volume has certainly been toned down in the last few minutes and Hellmuth has been able to explain to another player how he gets in the zone when he is playing hold'em and how good his reads are at the moment.

Pierre Triples On Three-Way All In

• Level 9: 300-600, 75 ante

Frederic Pierre open-shoved all in from under the gun for 9,800 and a player in middle position also moved all in for 11,450. The player in the small blind was all in as well and we were three ways to the flop.

Pierre {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

MP Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

SB Opponent: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

It was all over but the shoutin' on the flop of {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the board would run out {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} as Pierre tripled.

The Real Moohaha

• Level 9: 300-600, 75 ante

Justin Morgenstern goes by the name of “The Real Moohaha” and it’s not hard to figure out why after five minutes in the same room as him. His loud laugh is ringing out across the tournament floor and his table mates, including Phil Hellmuth, are doing their best not to let it get to them.

Morgenstern was in a hand against the small blind when he was sat in the big blind. They had checked it down to the river of a board reading {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}. Morgenstern quickly called a bet from his opponent who then said, “Six.” and he turned over {10-Clubs} for the better flush. He proceeded to give a loud and long, “muahahhaha!!” to the face of his opponent telling him he was so bad and that he was his honey bear.

If he was looking for a reaction so far no one has bitten and Morgenstern is steadily accumulating chips so he could be around for a while. He was particularly keen for this reporter to know he had more than Hellmuth.
