Asian Poker King Tournament Gets Bigger
The success of the inaugural Asian Poker King Tournament has prompted the Poker King Club in Macau to hold its biggest tournament to date.
The event will be held from April 22 to 26, 2010 on Level 8 Ballroom of The StarWorld Casino. It will feature the Asian Poker King Tournament with a HK$ 1,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool. It will have a buy in of HK$ 7,500 + HK$ 500. In addition to the satellites, the Poker King Club has added a number of side tournaments to the schedule.
- Deep Stack Turbo Event (HK$ 1,500 + HK$ 150)
- Sun City Group High Roller Event (HK$ 100,000 + HK$ 1,000)
- Six-Handed Tournament (HK$ 2,750 + HK$ 250)
- Shoot Out Tournament (HK$ 1,000 + HK$ 100)

The first Asian Poker King Tournament had a HK$ 750,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool which attracted 174 players that brought the total prize money to HK$ 870,000. It was won by Korean poker player Il Wong Yoo who took home the HK $284,200 first prize as well as a Corum Royal Flush Automatic Special Edition watch.
The Asian Poker King Tournament is an Asian Poker Tour (APT) accredited event.
