Event #11: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

Back to Drury Lane

Jake "TheMuffin" Solis open-shoved for 75,000 and Kyle Julius called with {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. Solis tabled {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the board ran {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{J-Spades}{A-Hearts} to eliminate him from the tournament.

Julius is now up to 560,000 chips.

Campbell Crippled Then Busted

James Campbell has been eliminated just a few hands after the break.

Campbell was crippled by Allan Le when the two got it in preflop. Campbell held {8-Spades}{6-Spades} and Le tabled {k-Clubs}[9s}.

The board ran {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Campbell's stack sunk to 40,000 chips. Le's grew to 155,000 chips.

A few hands later we witnessed Campbell stand and leave signifying that he is busto.

Break Dance

That's eight of ten levels in the books today, and it's time for the final break of the evening. This one will be 25 minutes again as we'll take a few minutes to get those pesky purple T500 chips out of our sight.

Young Still Fighting

Jason Young flopped another set? And got paid off again?

The board was {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Young's chips were already in the middle. His opponent, Carl Merkling, tank-called with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Young rolled over {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}.

The board ran {K-Clubs},{A-Diamonds} and Young is back up to 300,000 chips.

Dwan Drops Down

Short-stacked, Sam Trickett was all in for his last 109,500. Tom "durrrr" Dwan was his only customer and the hands looked like this:

Trickett: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Dwan: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The board ran {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Dwan's hand did not improve. Samuel doubled to 225,000 chips and "durrrr" dropped to 600,000.

A Challenger Awaits...

A short-stacked Ross Myers got his chips in with {6-Clubs} {6-Hearts} before the flop, and Kyle Julius made the call with {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} to race for another knockout.

And knock out he would.

Board: {10-Spades} {8-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}

Another player is out, and Myers is now squarely in second place with 532,000 chips.
