"They Value Bet Bottom Pair?"

Phil Hellmuth was clearly irritated after calling an opponent's bet on the river with a board that read {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}. His opponent had flipped over {A-Clubs}{4-Spades} for two pair.

"They value bet bottom pair? I guess you were bluffing. Was it a bluff?" Hellmuth ranted. "That is truly one of the worst plays I've seen in the last three days." Hellmuth mucked his cards and is down to 1,850.

The Dragon Strikes Again

With about 2,000 in the pot and a board reading {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{A-Spades}{8-Spades}, Seat 9 bet 1,200 and was called by David "The Dragon" Pham. The river card was the {6-Spades} and Seat 9 opted to check.

Pham took his time before betting 1,950. Seat 9 reluctantly folded and Pham showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The entire table seemed to be impressed. Pham is now up to 7,500.
