Binger Doubles Up

Nick Binger
Nick Binger

Yan Chen was first to act and raised to 20,000. In the small blind, Nick Binger moved all in for another 36,000. Chan called. Each were drawing one to a nine.

Chen: {9-}{6-}{5-}{4-}
Binger: {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}

Michael Binger and Mike Matusow rushed onto the stage and stood inches behind Binger's chair. "He makes it!" announced Matusow as soon as he caught a glimpse of Binger's {8-}. Chen pulled a {J-} and paid Nick. Binger is still the short stack with 92,000 now, and Chen is still on top with 530,000.

Chen Climbs To 600k

Derric Haynie opened to 18,000 from under the gun and Yan Chen made the call from the big blind as both players drew one.

Chen checked and after nearly sixty seconds of deliberating, Haynie fired out 30,000.

Shuffling six 5,000-denomination chips in one hand, before readjusting his chips several times while occasionally taking a sip of a coffee, Chen took three minutes before deciding on making the call.

"Jack!" announced Haynie as he rolled over his {J-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

Chen quickly flipped over his {10-}{9-}{8-}{6-}{2-} to win with a ten-low and move to just under 600,000 as Haynie slips to 120,000 in chips.

Wrong Game

Yan Chen raised to 20,000 on the button. Nick Binger was in the big blind and folded, showing {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Rick Fuller chimed in, "A pat Royal should be worth all the chips." "Yeah, in any game," agreed Mike Matusow.

Yan Chen opened to 20,000 and Derric Haynie made the call.

"I'm going to raise it" announced Mike Wattel as he cut down a raise totalling 70,000.

Chen quickly mucked but Haynie made the call and drew one against Wattel who stood pat.

Following a check from Wattel, Haynie announced, "you win" as Wattel tabled his {8-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-} to move to 340,000 as Haynie slips to 175,000 in chips.

Raise, Reraise, and Take It

We told you Derric Haynie was getting revved up. He's switched gears big time and put his 5 Hour Energy out there to warn everyone. Here are the last four hands:

1) Yan Chen raised to 20,000, and Haynie popped it to 63,000. Chen folded, and Haynie took the pot.

2) Nick Binger raised and won the blinds and antes.

3) Mike Wattel raised and took it down.

4) Mike Wattel raised to 18,000 for the second hand in a row, and Derric Haynie made it 67,000. That was enough to win another one.

Haynie checked and Chen fired out 35,000 which Haynie called.

Haynie Powering Up

Derric Haynie was first to act and raised to 18,000. Yan Chen called from the big blind and drew two. Haynie only needed one. Chen checked, and Haynie checked behind, tabling a {j-}-{8-}. That was good enough for the win, and Haynie took the pot. He could be getting a little frisky this level now that he's got a bottle of 5 Hour Energy in front of him.

Haynie Pushes

Derric Haynie opened to 18,000 from the button and Mike Wattel three-bet from the big blind to 63,000.

Haynie mulled over his decision before sliding in the rest of his chips to amount to a re-raise of 138,000.

Wattel didn't take too long to produce a fold to see Haynie pushed the pot and move to 207,000 in chips.
