No Chips or Chair for Salles

Gualter Salles Eliminated

The "Chip and a Chair" story of Gualter Salles unfortunately won't end in a famous tournament victory, but he should still be satisfied with a remarkable comeback after turning his last 1,000 chip yesterday into a collect of $57,102 today.

Salles' last chips went in preflop holding {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} but he was dominated by the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of Adam Levy.

It appeared all over on the {7-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, but the {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn to give Salles a flush draw and some hope.

"Never easy..." sighed Levy, but his hand held on the {5-Hearts} river. Salles is eliminated as Levy is now back to 2.15 million chips.
