Shane Sinks Shaun

Shamus • Level 17: 2,000-4,000, 500 ante

Shaun Deeb is out, eliminated by Shane Schleger. All in with {A-}{K-} versus Schleger's pocket sevens, the flop brought a king to put Deeb in front. But a seven on the river gave Schelger a set, sending Deeb to the rail.

Schleger now has about 185,000. He also has a new neighbor, come to fill Deeb's empty seat -- Daniel Negreanu and his stack of 215,000.

Randy Dorfman started the action, opening to 4,500 from middle position. David Gent three-bet to 18,000 on the button, and Dorfman four-bet to 55,000. Gent folded.

"This table is crazy," Dan O'Brien commented.

"This three-bet crap is not going to continue guys," Dorfman warned the table.

The players burst into laughter.

"It's not going to be four-bets either, it's just going to be jams."

"Randy..." O'Brien interjected.

"Shut up," Dorfman snapped. "You started this."

"Alright," Gent finally blurted. "I won't three-bet light anymore."

The flop came {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, pairing Singer but making a flush possible for Bergman. The turn brought the {K-Spades}, giving Singer trips. The river was the {7-Hearts}, and Bergman wished everyone luck as he left the table, having been eliminated in 53rd place.
