Breaking Up is Hard to Do

• Level 25: 15,000-30,000, 5,000 ante

Players have now left on another 20-minute break. And in breaking news... although we got confirmation that we would be playing out ten levels today, we just received word that things have been changed and the players will be bagging and tagging when they hit the official final table. That means only two more bust-outs until we conclude play for the evening.

Terrance Eischens Eliminated in 12th Place ($41,389)

Terrance Eischens
Terrance Eischens

Sebastien Roy raised to 65,000 from UTG and Terrance Eischens moved all in for 570,000 from the big blind. Roy called and we had ourselves a coinflip.

Roy: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
Eischens: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The board came {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Roy paired his queens to move to 1.8 million and into second place.

Doria Suffers a Zhangover

• Level 25: 15,000-30,000, 5,000 ante

On the turn of a {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} board, Mario Doria saw his 105,000 bet check-raised to 260,000 by Ren Ho Zhang. Doria made the call to see the {J-Clubs} river and Zhang moved all in for his last 755,000. Doria tanked and rechecked his cards before shrugging and folding the {k-Spades} face up.

Zhang showed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a pure bluff.

Doria Doubles

We're not quite sure how the betting went preflop, but we know that Mario Doria got his last 530,000 in with the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} against Matt LaGarde's {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Doria doubled to 1,119,000 while LaGarde's stack fell back to 520,000.

Mario Doria 1,190,000 567,000
Matthew LaGarde 520,000 -780,000

Gardian Snowmen

Ren Ho Zhang raised to 75,000 UTG preflop and Matthew LaGarde reraised all in for 590,000 next to him. Dror Michaelo then counted out and made the call for a good chunk of his stack. Everyone else folded, Ho Zhang included.

LaGarde: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Michaelo: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board was {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}, bricky enough for LaGarde to double up into contention.

Matthew LaGarde 1,300,000 314,000
Dror Michaelo 700,000 -596,000

Roy Rallys Up a Double

Harald Olsen raised to 60,000 from middle position, Terrance Eischens called on the button, and Sebastien Roy re-raised to 225,000. Olsen folded and Eischens decided to move all in. Roy called putting his tournament life at risk.

Eischens: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Roy: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Roy's kings were in the lead until the flop came {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs} giving Eischen's a set of jacks. Roy's hope wasn't lost though as he had picked up a flush draw and indeed the turn brought the {3-Clubs} giving him a king-high flush. The river was the inconsequential {2-Spades} and Roy secured his double up.

Sebastien Roy 1,250,000 560,000
Terrance Eischens 480,000 -800,000

Pierre Neuville - Eliminated in 13th Place ($32,370)

Action folded to Pierre Neuville in the cutoff who shoved all in for his last 175,000. Harald Olsen was on the button and decided to call.

Neuville: {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Olsen: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Neuville was going to need some help to stay alive but the board ran out {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and he was sent to the rail only a few players short of our final table. After the hand Olsen's stack was up to 950,000.
